Met mijn digitale collagekunst combineer ik beelden, lagen en fragmenten om thema’s als identiteit, zelfacceptatie en vrouwelijke empowerment te verkennen. Mijn werk maakt innerlijke kracht zichtbaar en onderzoekt de complexe spanningen tussen kwetsbaarheid en kracht, vrouwelijkheid en mannelijkheid.

As a digital collage artist I combine images, layers and fragments to explore themes such as identity, self -acceptance and female empowerment. My work makes inner strength visible and investigates the complex tensions between vulnerability and strength, femininity and masculinity.

In samenwerking met cultureel platform KHABBAZ zijn een aantal kunstenaars geselecteerd om hun werk te exposeren in het gemeentehuis van Alphen aan den Rijn.
De nieuwe tentoonstelling is van start gegaan met werk van Lucinda Bertels, Cara Yuan en mij. Vanaf 16 juni is mijn werk vijf weken lang te zien in het kantoor van wethouder Financiën Gert van der Ham.
De burgemeester ontving ons hartelijk en was zeer geïnteresseerd in de kunstwerken. Een uitstekende ambassadeur, als je het mij vraagt. 🙂

In collaboration with cultural platform KHABBAZ, several artists were selected to exhibit their work in the town hall in Alphen aan den Rijn.
The new exhibition has started with works by Lucinda Bertels, Cara Yuan and me. From June 16th, my work will be on display for 5 weeks, in the office of the Alderman for Finance Gert van der Ham.
The mayor received us warmly and was very interested in the artworks. I’m sure he will be an excellent ambassador. 🙂
